On 2006-02-26 Don Tapscott (author of Wikinomics) presented for Cambrian House. It was a fantastic presentation. This is NOT that presentation. This is just a timelapse from the back of the room, as the audience found their seats, possibly useful as stock footage. Our original timelapse uploads were in MPEG-2, grab those if you're looking for the highest quality timelapse footage.

Shot July 2006 in London subway. All stock footage I've shot and placed in Creative Commons can be found at OpenSourceVideo.BlogSpot.com. This is a very early video of mine. If you'd like to see my latest Creative Commons work, that would be a documentary called THORIUM REMIX a documentary about LFTR (Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor) also called Thorium Molten Salt Reactors, available on YouTube.

Timelapse shots of cars, traffic and cityscapes. Shot in Calgary and Vancouver. The closest-to-raw footage can be found in the bigger quicktime files, the ones which include city names in the file names. Those are the "originals". I only created MPEG2 of everything-in-one-clip so that Internet Archive could use it to create screenshots and MP4s. If you're going to edit with these clips, USE THE BIG QUICKTIME FILES.

Stock footage. HDTV (720p) timelapse footage of traffic in an intersection. Footage repeats, 50x then 10x. Shot in Calgary around 8th & 8th SW 4 PM (shoulda held out for rush hour). ... This footage is 16x9. IA seems to be ignoring that info and making its derivatives 4:3, so the thumbnails look wonky. Since the rez is so high, you can still use it as 4:3, just zoom in on the footage. ... http://opensourcevideo.blogspot.com/

This is Clip 1 from the first Archive release of our stock footage. It is a simple Time lapse of a 2004 Lunar Eclipse taped in Florida. I have tried to organize the clips with titles and countdowns so they are easier to use. COMMENT: I am releasing these Stock footage Clips for free so that editors who can't afford footage will have access. Please don't try to just sell this footage as stock footage. You must use the material in some creative way to possess the rights to it. It would be nice if you give credit to Ivan Bridgewater and the Internet Archive too.
