Footage of the Internet Archive's version of the Kirtas APT 1200 book scanning system in Toronto Canada. This footage can be used as stock footage without restriction. The first section is an operator working with the robot on every page turn. Later there is a section where the robot runs without being touched. Another movie by the vendor Kirtas.

This is the same movie serial, posted elsewhere on this sight. I cleaned up the audio and corrected the synchronization, as needed. This is also my first contribution to this website. I hope that some of the folks who were disappointed with the quality of earlier versions will find their way to these and enjoy them.

(Public domain cartoon) Was amazed when I watched this 1941 Superman cartoon ("The Mechanical Monsters") and recognized that "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" (2004) copied the opening robot attack almost shot for shot. Same angles, same flying robot design, and even the way they swing their arms while walking.

A mad scientist unleashes robots to rob banks and loot museums. Superman saves the day. Animation by Steve Muffati and George Germanetti. Music by Sammy Timberg. Produced in 1941.
