There were some wonderful clouds moving through the sky the other day and I thought I would try something a little different. It didn't work out that great, and it turns out the clouds were moving much faster than I had anticipated. This is what the final product ended up being, and actually I am suprised at how nice it looks. It definitely is more abstract, but may make a nice background for someone or overlay.

I made this clip the other day for a small project I am toying with. It was meant to recreate the trippy side effect of a dirty 80's video game cartridge's display when you tried to boot it. If anyone here isn't old enough to remember, the remedy was blowing into the cartridge to get the dust and junk off of it.

Had access to a camera with a remote control and thought that this clip would work well for some people. I love the shallow depth of field the sigma lens gets me. This video was shot using a Canon EOS Rebel T2i and a Sigma 24mm f/1.8 EX DG Lens.

This clip was taken early in the morning in a very mountainous area of New York State. I was actually visiting my extended family, not really looking to get any footage. The area was beautiful and I only had one 16GB memory card on me that had the Magic Lantern Firmware. This meant that I only could come home with one time lapse (lesson learned!). This was, I think my 6th attempt at something. The previous day, I had captured a couple of cloud formations that I thought were nice. Each time I deleted the contents of the card to capture something "better".

Not exactly sure how I was able to pull this clip off, but I love the way it looks. It might be helpful for anyone looking for an atmospheric background.
