Riddarholmen, an island with aristocratic palaces, later used by governmental authorities, for example Wrangelska palatset (Wrangel palace - the white building). Riddarholmskyrkan, the church, was a Franciscan cloister, later the Royal burial church. The wrought iron spire was built in 1835. 2. Riddarholmen and the Old Town western water front with the tower of Tyska kyrkan (German congregation church).
