"Ramona", A Story of the White Man’s Injustice to the Indian, is a short drama directed by D. W. Griffith, featuring Billy Bitzer, a star of Silent Hall of Fame. Robert Harron also gets credit, but it is difficult to spot him.

Mary Pickford plays a Hispanic girl who falls in love with an Indian.  Undeterred by the vehement objections of her mother, she elopes with her man.  Then when white settlers drive the Indians from their homes the young family meets a tragic end.

"Winning Back His Love" is a short drama directed by D.W. Griffith, featuring cinematographer Billy Bitzer, a star of Silent Hall of Fame.

Stephanie Longfellow finds out that her husband Wilfred Lucas is about to start an affair.  Just when she feels down and out, she gets an advice from an old friend, Edwin August, to take counter-measures and bring Wilfred to his senses.

Nell Shipman was an actress portraying strong female characters that liked the outdoors and adventures.  Her love for animals was extraordinary, as manifested again in this film.  Nell Shipman was a Canadian. We also show her films "Back to God's Country" and "Something New".

"The Country Doctor" is a short drama directed by D.W. Griffith, featuring actress Florence Lawrence and cinematographer Billy Bitzer, stars of Silent Hall of Fame. This film depicts real human tragedy and may not be suitable for all audiences.  Viewer discretion is advised.

We trust that silent film lovers will not judge harshly the quality of the print.  Many early D.W. Griffith films are only available in a paper print format, and we are all very lucky that they have survived the trials of time for us to enjoy.
