James Gleason

Oh, Yeah! (also written as Oh, Yeah?) is a 1929 American pre-Code action film directed by Tay Garnett and starring Robert Armstrong, James Gleason and Zasu Pitts. The film's sets were designed by the art director Edward C. Jewell. An early sound film, it was made during the transition from the silent era. It is also known by the alternative title No Brakes after the original story it is based on that appeared in The Saturday Evening Post.

The Broadway Melody, also known as The Broadway Melody of 1929, is a 1929 American pre-Code musical film and the first sound film to win an Academy Award for Best Picture. It was one of the early musicals to feature a Technicolor sequence, which sparked the trend of color being used in a flurry of musicals that would hit the screens in 1929–1930.

Frank Sinatra, Sterling Hayden, and James Gleason star in this story about a plot to assassinate the President of the United States. Good drama, well acted... Spoiler alert: the good guys win, and the bad guys lose. The video is pretty sharp; and I cleaned up the audio. Good show. Written by Richard Sale; and directed by Lewis Allen.
