Testing the result of massive underground explosions by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission during Operation Dugout in 1960.

This is a new sound composite, produced by C. E. Price, of news footage of the Hindenburg explosion and Herb Morrison's reporting of the event. This is a clip of the Hydrogen Bomb test at Enewetak Atoll on November 1, 1952, and the first time one was exploded. The fireball was big enough to cover most of Manhattan Island. This clip show more of the aftermath of the nuclear cloud than do most films.
